Hi, I’m Leah! Thanks for taking some time to get to know me. I hope you’ll stay a while. I was born and raised in Southern California and am a true California Girl at heart. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Justin, and am head over heels over this guy. We’re celebrating eleven years of marriage this summer. Last year we were plucked from everything “home” and replanted in sunny Northern Florida. I’m still finding my bearings here but enjoying (okay, sometimes tolerating) the adventure as we go.
We’ve been blessed with an incredible daughter whom I’ll refer to as “LB” and recently adopted our long-awaited Baby Boy “RD”. I’m crazy about both of them. Sure, they drive me to my limits at times, but I wouldn’t trade them for the world. We also have a darling and very cuddly dog named Maxwell. He can really max out my patience but he’s adored by all. Did you catch the unintended but perfect pun? I’m hilarious. (sarcasm added)
I really love life. I love people and talking for hours about almost anything (except sports). It’s a skill. I love the beach, crafting, reading a good book, and seeing great movies. I love eating out and trying new foods. My morning routine normally includes a homemade latte but lately I’ve been obsessed with the Perfect Iced Coffee by the Pioneer Woman. I keep it in the fridge at all times as of late. I’m a sucker for all things chocolate. Don’t mess with me and my partner in crime, okay? We’re very happy together. I love Jesus and follow Him with my whole heart. I’m nothing without Him and rejoice in His new mercies each day because I mess up on the hour…probably before then actually. I have a fervor for motherhood and everything that entails. We mamas need to stick together! I have a passion to get our stories out there and our voices heard because we face HARD things and live to see the other side!! This is why I’m here. I hope my voice will be heard and brought to heart. YOU are the reason I write and I pray I’m used to reach you in that needed place. Will you join me on this crazy blogging adventure?
